Hi! My name is Garrett, and I am the owner of 419 Fishing Co. I am a nineteen year old fishing fanatic who has been hooked to the catch since day one. Fishing has always been something I have been very passionate about, as well as my faith. To me, there is no better "disconnect to connect" time, while being out on the water fishing. That was the main reason I wanted to create these baits, I want to spread this message through the joy of reeling in jumbos!

The name "419 Fishing Co" originates from the Bible. Mathew 4:19 states, "and He (Jesus) said to them, "Come and follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." As a very outgoing and energetic person, this verse and spreading this message is very exciting to me. I wanted to create a business in something I was passionate IN and something I am passionate ABOUT. This, I feel, is a perfect mesh of the two for me.

I also really loved the idea of making my own baits for personal use. A lot of store bought plastics are very common colors, with not too much variety. There is a lot more expansion and creativity to be had with the soft plastic baits. I started making my own plastics with some crazy glitters and some awesome scents, and they produced, actually, really well. I then put my plastics through intense stress testing as well. They were pitched into dams, white water rapids, rocks, snags, and even trees (whoops). Thats when I knew I had an amazing bait ready to sell. The durability and "biteability" is something I wanted no compromise on.
